In 2050, there will be 10 billion of us. We will require 2½ times more energy than we use now to guarantee an equitable distribution to all. This is the only way our children and grandchildren can live in a world free of regional and national conflicts. It is idiocy to believe renewable energy technologies can provide this magnitude of energy!

It's not only an effing swindle, itis soething that the denialists of Glbal Oceanic Warmin AND acidification can scoff at. There is exactly one technology that can oust the burning of fossil soar - a.k.a. fossil cabon AND the oxygen we breathe, and it is the product of the supernovae "who" long before our planet and its sun condensed, "died for us". When I flip a switch, I expect IMMEDIATE electric power, kilowatts, not some slight expectation of energy, kWh, when it pleases the sun and the wind to provide it. You cannot stack wind power like wood or coal.
